This is a really fun photo to look at, for tons of reasons. First thing I noticed was that I used to bite my fingernails just like this girl does. Second thing I noticed was the color. Your portraits are always very saturated, which is almost always a plus for portraits. This one is no exception, and the reds all play off eachother very well. Even her freckles get into the act. In looking at that, I noticed that the sweater and the red fabric she is resting on are bouncing a magenta hue all over her arms and face, but especially her cheeks and forehead. I would bet that in real life her skin is very pale. (I don't know if you did that on purpose, but if not you should note it and use it to your advantage again in the future.) Finally of course, the big blue eyes, the only blue in the whole swirling storm of red. Very cool use of color!
